SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA — As the weekend wraps up, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.
But before we jump into Southern California's top stories, residents should know that strong Santa Ana winds are expected to continue through Tuesday. Much of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Diego counties were under either a high wind warning or wind advisory Monday.
It will be "warmer with Santa Ana winds for (Monday) and Tuesday with weaker winds on Wednesday," NWS San Diego wrote Sunday. "Cooler and breezy for Thanksgiving through next weekend with mostly onshore flow.

"Strong wind gusts in the Santa Ana wind prone areas are well supported by high resolution model guidance," forecasters said. "Of particular concern is the area below the Cajon Pass and inland Orange County near the Santa Ana Mountain canyons on Monday. These mostly north winds will create a clear hazard to high profile vehicles on east-west freeways and interchanges in the Inland Empire."
In other news, five adults were shot and two teens suffered burn injuries during a birthday party in San Diego County, police said.

A crash involving a school bus left four injured, and a woman arrested in connection with the crash in Riverside County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A SuperLotto Plus ticket with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, was sold at a donut shop in Los Angeles County. The ticket is worth $32,247, according to the California Lottery.
Interstate 10 reopened early, in time for the Monday morning commute, after the freeway was forced to shut down following a massive storage yard fire in downtown Los Angeles.
Plus, the University of California is committing $7 million to address what officials called "acts of bigotry, intolerance, and intimidation," including incidents of Islamophobia and antisemitism, that have occurred over the past several weeks on its campuses, where tensions are high because of the Israel-Hamas war.
