County Sends 2M Postcards To Registered Voters Ahead Of June 2 Primary
Ballots are scheduled to begin arriving the week of May 4, giving voters nearly a month to return them by Election Day.
SAN DIEGO, CA — The San Diego County Registrar of Voters has mailed more than 2 million postcards to registered voters outlining voting options for the June 2 gubernatorial primary election.
Every registered voter will receive a mail ballot, which can be returned postage-free by mail, placed in an official Registrar ballot drop box or cast at any vote center. Ballots are scheduled to begin arriving the week of May 4, giving voters nearly a month to return them by Election Day.
In-person voting begins May 4 at the Registrar of Voters office at 5600 Overland Ave. in San Diego. The Kearny Mesa office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Vote centers throughout the county will open in phases. Select locations will open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily beginning May 23. All vote centers will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 30.All vote centers, ballot drop boxes and the Registrar's office will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 2.
