SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – Heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms on Thursday prompted the National Weather Service to issue a flash flood advisory and watch for San Diego County.

An urban and small stream flood advisory is in effect until 6:15 p.m. for parts of the county, including the cities of Chula Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad, El Cajon, Vista, Encinitas and National City.
