Hit-And-Run Driver Who Fled Crash That Killed 2 Turns Self In: Police
He was booked into San Diego County jail and charged with two counts of vehicular manslaughter and felony hit-and-run, according to police.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A San Diego man has been charged in connection with the weekend hit-and-run crash that left two young women dead, according to police.
Tony Garcia, 53, turned himself in several hours after the collision early Sunday morning, police said. He was booked into San Diego County jail and charged with two counts of vehicular manslaughter, and felony hit-and-run, according to police.
The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 6100 block of Paradise Valley Road, police said. The crash happened when a westbound Honda Civic turning left from Paradise Valley Road onto Munda Road crossed in front of an eastbound Ford F-150 driven by Garcia, according to police.

Two of the passengers in the Honda, ages 20 and 25, were pronounced dead at a hospital, police said. The car’s driver, a 22-year-old woman, suffered severe injuries that were not life-threatening, according to police, who said a 25-year-old man who was a passenger in the Honda complained of pain.
Garcia fled the scene on foot, police said.
