Hyatt Vacation Ownership To Host Hiring Event At The Welk San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA — Hyatt Vacation Ownership plans to hire up to 200 people this summer in the San Diego area, the company said.

The open positions are for a variety of departments at the Escondido-based resort The Welk. The Welk features a live theater, two golf courses, Pizza Hut Express, a restaurant, retail shop and marketplace with Starbucks.

First, second and third shift opportunities are available. Non-tipped hourly positions start at $15/hour, according to the company. Salaried management positions are also available.

Relevant industry experience is preferred but not required, according to the company. Paid training will be provided.

Hyatt Vacation Ownership plans to host in-person hiring events throughout the summer. The first hiring event was held last Tuesday and the next hiring event is slated from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 19, at The Welk at 8860 Lawrence Welk Drive in Escondido. Pre-register or apply online.
