San Diego County Fair Offers $5 Bite-Sized Fair Foods

DEL MAR, CA — Fairgoers can now get a taste of the San Diego County Fair for only $5.

Every fair food stand will offer a $5 option during "Taste of the Fair" from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The bite-sized options include a small lemonade, corn dogs, fries, sliders, pretzels, ice cream, funnel cake, deep-fried Twinkies and more.

According to fair organizers, "Taste of the Fair" is part of the event's effort to ensure the fair remains affordable and accessible to San Diegans.

The 2024 fair runs through July 7 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd. The fair is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
