San Diego Senior Home Residents, Staff Receive COVID-19 Vaccines
Senior residents and staff members of St. Paul's McColl Health Center in San Diego received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Dozens of essential workers and senior residents of a San Diego skilled nursing facility received the COVID-19 vaccine Wednesday.
St. Paul's Senior Services in San Diego registered with CVS Pharmacy to host COVID-19 vaccination clinics at its residential communities as part of the federal Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program.
There will be three clinics at each residential community. The first clinic was held Wednesday, when 45 senior residents of St. Paul's McColl Health Center and 95 staff members received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. The second vaccine will take place Jan. 20.

St. Paul's Senior Services is a nonprofit and full-service senior care provider, offering independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing communities, child care and senior day care programs, and Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) health clinics.
The organization employs almost 700 people and cares for more than 1,200 seniors throughout its four locations.
