1 Dead, 2 Injured In San Francisco Shooting: Officials
The shooting took place on Friday morning in the Potrero Hill area, officials said.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — One person was killed, and two others were injured during a shooting in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood on Friday morning, authorities said.
Few details about what led up to the shooting were immediately available. The shooting was reported around 10 a.m. in the area of Dakota and 25th streets, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
The gunfire struck two people, including one who died at the scene. The other was taken to a local hospital and is in serious condition, according to authorities.

Police say a minor who suffered superficial injuries during the shooting, but was not struck by gunfire, was also taken to a local hospital.
Nearby Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital was also placed on lockdown following the shooting. This can happen, according to CBS, when authorities perceive the victim of a shooting may still be under threat.
