1 Dead, 4 Injured When Stolen Vehicle Crashes Into SF Bus Stop
A city-owned vehicle was carjacked Tuesday morning. Police were in pursuit of the vehicle when it crashed.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — One person died and four others were injured in San Francisco on Tuesday morning after a pursuit of a stolen city-owned vehicle led to a crash in the city's Potrero Hill neighborhood, a police spokesperson said.
The carjacking of the city vehicle was reported around 10 a.m. in the area of Folsom and Mabini streets and officers began a pursuit after spotting the vehicle in the area of Kansas and 25th streets, Police Officer Niccole Pacchetti said.
The city vehicle then crashed in the area of 16th Street and Potrero Avenue, causing injuries to the suspect and four other people, Pacchetti said. One of the victims died while an update on the conditions of the suspect and other three victims was not immediately available Tuesday afternoon.

Police have not released the name of the suspect who allegedly stole the vehicle.
