1 Dead in Muni Bus Shooting

The shooting happened Wednesday in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley neighborhood.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — One person died and another was injured in a Wednesday afternoon shooting on a Muni bus in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley neighborhood, police said.

Officers responded at approximately 3:20 p.m. to Velasco Avenue and Santos Street on a report of a shooting on a bus.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Police rendered first aid until paramedics could arrive to transport the victims to a hospital, where one later died.
