1 Dead, Several Hurt In Ingleside Assault

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Several people were injured and one person was killed early Tuesday morning in the Ingleside District of San Francisco, the police department said.

Officers responded to a call at approximately 6:28 a.m. in the 2200 block of Bayshore Boulevard about an assault in progress.

Upon arrival, police located several victims and detained a possible suspect. One victim had life-threatening injuries and despite first aid attempts, died at the scene. The other victims were treated at the scene.

Homicide took over the investigation, which is still active. The unnamed suspect has been arrested.
