2 Bay Area Lottery Tickets Each Worth $16,334

The tickets were sold for Saturday night's drawing. A third ticket was sold in the Los Angeles area.

BAY AREA, CA — Are you $16,334 richer? There are two nice checks waiting to be claimed in the Bay Area. Lotto tickets purchased in Alameda and Dublin for the July 27 SuperLotto Plus drawing matched the first five numbers, just missing the mega ball.

In fact, there were three tickets that matched five numbers. In addition to the two sold in the Bay Area, one was sold in the Los Angeles area.

The Alameda ticket was bought at High Street Market, located at 1505 High Street. The Dublin ticket was purchased at the Chevron station at 2760 Dublin Boulevard.

No one won the jackpot, which grows to $68 million for the Aug. 7 drawing. That's larger than the current Mega Millions jackpot, which is $55 million on Aug. 6. The Powerball jackpot for Aug. 7 is $112 million.
