2 Men Shot In Bayview District Sunday

One of the men suffered life-threatening injuries.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Two men were injured in a shooting in San Francisco's Bayview District early Sunday morning, police said today.

The shooting was reported at 1:27 a.m. in the area of Third Street and Newcomb Avenue.

A 47-year-old man got into a fight with three suspects who shot him. A 50-year-old man heard the shots and then realized he had also been shot, according to police.

Both men were taken to a hospital. The 47-year-old's injuries are considered life-threatening, while the 50-year-old is expected to survive, police said.

No arrests have been made and no detailed suspect description was immediately available from police.
