2 Teens Arrested In Connection To Deadly Shooting At SF Park: Police
The shooting took place on Friday in the area of Golden Gate Avenue and Laguna Street, police said.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Two teens have been arrested in connection with a shooting on Friday afternoon at a San Francisco Park that left two people injured and a girl dead, according to authorities.
Both suspects, ages 16 and 15, were taken into custody on suspicion of murder, according to the San Francisco Police Department. Their names were not made publicly available because they are underage. A motive for the shooting remains unclear.
Police say the suspects shot three other minors at a park at around 5:13 p.m. in the area of Golden Gate Avenue and Laguna Street on Friday.

Two suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, while the other, a girl, was critically hurt, authorities said.
They were all taken to a local hospital, where the girl died from her injuries, authorities said. She was identified as 15-year-old Jayda Mabrey.

Detectives launched an investigation into the shooting and quickly pieced together the identity of two suspects, according to authorities.
On Tuesday, officers announced they had enough probable cause to arrest the suspects. It's unclear whether the suspects and any of the people wounded knew each other before the shooting.
