Robbery, Auto Burglaries Suspects Arrested After Getaway Car Stalls On SF Hill: Police
The suspects are accused of injuring and robbing an elderly woman in the Taraval District.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Four suspects who police say injured and robbed an elderly woman in San Francisco on Wednesday have been arrested, according to authorities.
Video released by the San Francisco Police Department on Monday shows the moment the victim is walking on the 2200 block of Irving Street when at least one person in a black hood lunges at her purse.
The suspect yanks the purse off the victim before a white SUV appears on screen. The suspect and three others can then be seen running into a white SUV, which appears to be used as a getaway car.

The woman suffered minor injuries during the robbery and was evaluated at the scene, but declined medical treatment, authorities said.
Officers used surveillance footage and live cameras to track the white SUV, which police say had a stolen license plate.

Police say they located the suspect's car in the parking lot of the Palace of the Fine Arts.
While officers tried coming up with a plan to take the suspects into custody, the suspects suddenly got out, started smashing nearby cars and stole items from inside, police said.
The suspects then got back into the white SUV and left the parking lot. Despite officers successfully deploying spike strips, the suspects kept driving, eventually causing a small crash, police said.
The car, however, eventually stalled while the driver tried going up a hill and began rolling backwards, prompting the suspects to leave the car and run, video shows.
Officers continued tracking the suspects using a drone and eventually took all four suspects into custody in connection with the robbery and thefts, police said.
Upon searching the white SUV, officers found several stolen items, including the robbery victim's purse, authorities said. All victims were given back their items, they added.
The suspects were identified as Charles Eason, 25, of San Francisco; Jamaul Mullins, 22, of Pittsburg; Major Skinner, 18, of Oakland; and 25-year-old Daija Bartholomew, 25, of Antioch.
They're each facing several potential charges, including conspiracy, robbery in the second degree, elder abuse causing injury, resisting arrest, burglary and non-injury hit-and-run, police said.
