8,000 Pounds Of Turkey Donated To Food Bank
With Thanksgiving just weeks away, Foster Farms on Monday made sure than San Francisco families will have a feast.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA â The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank will receive more than 8,000 pounds of Thanksgiving Turkey from Foster Farms on Monday.
The food bank will distribute the turkeys to about 10,000 people in the area for Thanksgiving.
The donation is part of Foster Farms' effort to distribute 64,000 pounds of turkey along the West Coast, organizers said.

The donation will happen at 11 a.m. at the food bank located at 900 Pennsylvania Ave. in San Francisco, organizers said.
The food bank's Executive Director Tanis Crosby and a spokesperson from Foster Farms will speak on their efforts and commitment to hunger relief.
