SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A massive proposed skyscraper in San Francisco could add hundreds of new apartments, according to a San Francisco Chronicle report.
The 633,600-square-foot tower would be 45 stories tall and create 528 new living spaces, including 80 affordable-housing units, according to the report.
Proposed at 1601 Mission St., the building would replace Tower Car Wash, according to the report.
A retail space on the ground floor, parking spaces, a rooftop deck, an outdoor swimming pool and golf simulators are just a few ideas proposed so far, according to the report.
The project, proposed by developer Manna Capital to the city's planning department last week, could cost about $312 million and would become one of San Francisco's largest housing projects since the pandemic, according to the report.
