Bay Area Man Who Filmed Himself Having Sex With Child Sentenced: DOJ

The 33-year-old was previously found guilty of producing, distributing and receiving child sexual abuse material, authorities said.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A Bay Area man who police say convinced a minor into having sex and then filmed it has been sentenced to more than 20 years in federal prison, authorities said.

Henry Muller, 33, of San Francisco, pleaded guilty last year to two counts of production of child pornography, one count of distribution of child pornography, and one count of receipt of child pornography, according to the United States Attorney's Office.

Federal prosecutors say Muller "unlawfully persuaded a minor victim" into performing sexual acts with him and recorded them in 2022.

Muller also uploaded child pornography onto the internet and was also sent a similar video of another minor that same year, according to federal prosecutors

The 33-year-old has been in custody since his arrest in 2023, according to federal prosecutors. Muller will also serve 15 years of supervised release following his stint in prison.
