Bomb Threat In Downtown San Francisco Forces Shelter-In-Place Order
A shelter-in-place order was in effect for the 38-story One Montgomery Tower as well as the Post Montgomery Center and the Crocker Galleria.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A bomb threat disrupted business Thursday in downtown San Francisco, according to police.
Officers responded shortly after 1:30 p.m. to Montgomery Street for a possible threat involving an explosive, according to police, who established a perimeter and searched the area before deeming it safe and free of any suspicious devices.
A shelter-in-place order was in effect for the 38-story One Montgomery Tower high-rise as well as the Post Montgomery Center and the Crocker Galleria, according to The San Francisco Standard, which reported its email tip line received the threat and the publication contacted police.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police at 415-575-4444 or text 847-411 and begin the message with “SFPD.”
