This CA City Named Among Top 3 Foodie Destinations In The U.S.
Only one other California city made the top 10.
SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco was recently ranked the third-best foodie city in the nation by WalletHub.
The personal finance website compared over 180 cities across 28 indicators, ranging from grocery cost to affordability and accessibility of quality restaurants to food festivals per capita.
Miami was No. 1 on the list and Portland was No. 2.

“In the best foodie cities, including Miami, FL, Portland, OR, and San Francisco, CA, there are tons of unique culinary experiences to try, from food trucks to specialty-food stores to, in some cities, Michelin-starred restaurants,” WalletHub analyst Chip Lupo said in the website’s explanation of the ranking.
WalletHub noted San Francisco’s high per capita number of restaurants and its selection of well-rated affordable-dining options, as well as its 25 Michelin-star restaurants.

The only other California city to make the top 10 was Sacramento at No. 9.
