KQED and artist collective Good Compenny come together in Vallejo for a night that's more than a show - it's a moment to showcase musical talent from the Bay Area. Five local artists will hit the stage for a live music showdown, judged by Vallejo star LaRussell and other local heavy-hitters.
Up-and-coming rappers and singers will bring their truth and talent to the mic. Expect real feedback, real recognition and one standout winner. Then, we close the night with a headlining set by LaRussell, whose music and message have inspired a movement far beyond the 707.
