Because what if something better is possible, is coming, is just around the corner.

What if there's something I can do, something difficult and terrifying and real.

What if I have to be brave and honest and vulnerable and what if that helps?

Hope is a bet that the future is better than the past.

And hope is cruel because it's a bet we could lose.

SHOUT performers include Emma Andre, Colin Frederick, William Brewton Fowler, Jr., Anna Greenberg Gold, & Nol Simonse. On film: Moscyeline ParkeHarrison & Hadassah Perry. With the dancers, we are exploring: 1) how we find cope in trying times, 2) where does hope live in the body and how do we find it and 3) what does community offer? It is a meditation on survival, difficult decisions and complex lives.

Support the Artist: $50.00; General Admission: $35.00; Student/ Senior: $25.00.

Presented by Deborah Slater Dance Theater.
