Soprano Renée Fleming returns to Festival Napa Valley in Voice of Nature: The Anthropocene, a multimedia concert inspired by her 2023 Grammy Award-winning album.
Accompanied by an original film curated by the National Geographic Society, the program weaves together Romantic-era art songs by Grieg, Liszt, Fauré, and Hahn with works by contemporary composers including Nico Muhly, Caroline Shaw and Kevin Puts, exploring nature as both inspiration and casualty of humanity.
Also on the program, dynamic sister duo and Bouchaine Young Artists Hina & Fiona perform the world premiere of celebrated composer John Corigliano's The Red Violin: Suite for Two Violins and Orchestra, commissioned by Festival Napa Valley.
