SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Some travelers out of San Francisco may return home to find their cars are not how they left them after a fire Wednesday in the airport's long-term parking structure, according to authorities.

The San Francisco Fire Department tweeted around 7:15 a.m. that it was at the scene of a car fire that had spread to three vehicles at the San Francisco International Airport. The fire did not affect airport services but it did produce noticeable smoke.

Less than an hour later, the blaze was extinguished, according to the department. One car had caught fire and damaged two more on the fifth floor of the parking facility, but no one was injured.
