Cargo Ship Catches Fire At San Francisco Pier

One crew member was transported to the hospital.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Fire crews extinguished a one-alarm blaze in the engine room of
the Cape Henry cargo ship at Pier 96 in San Francisco early Monday morning, according to fire officials.

San Francisco firefighters arrived at the scene at 3:30 a.m. and extinguished the blaze at 3:44 a.m. One crew member from the ship was transported to a hospital for observation. — Bay City News
