Chance Of Rain In San Francisco This Weekend

The rain will be followed by a warming trend.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A rain storm will move through the Bay Area on Saturday, but it will not put a strain on rain gauges in San Francisco.

The National Weather Service predicts that San Francisco will only receive between .1 and .25 inches of rain from the storm. It follows about a quarter of an inch that fell earlier this week.

A few areas — the North Bay, and the coast from the Peninsula through Big Sur — will fare better.

Once the storm passes through the Bay Area will begin a warming trend, with record highs possible Tuesday and Wednesday.

If your company allows unlimited time off, highs those days will reach the 70s and 80s.

The warming trend comes as the state is running out of our traditional rainy season, with the Bay Area remaining in severe drought.
