Dianne Feinstein Hospitalized After Fall In San Francisco
Feinstein, 90, returned to the Senate in May after a three-month absence due to shingles and Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

SAN FRANCISCO — Sen. Dianne Feinstein was briefly hospitalized Tuesday after tripping and falling in her San Francisco home, according to multiple reports and a spokesperson from her office.
“Senator Feinstein briefly went to the hospital yesterday afternoon as a precaution after a minor fall in her home," the spokesperson said in a prepared statement. "All of her scans were clear and she returned home.”
Feinstein returned to the Senate in May after a three-month absence due to shingles and Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused vision loss and balance problems, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

Despite facing calls to resign, Feinstein has insisted she will wait to retire until her term ends in January 2025, according to NBC News.
