NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — As the weekend wraps up, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.
But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should know that forecasters said more rain will start off the week, but sunny days are around the corner.
"Two weak systems will bring light rain to the region this afternoon into tonight as well as late Monday into Tuesday," NWS Bay Area forecasters wrote Sunday. "As conditions dry out, breezy northerly winds will develop midweek. Winds diminish by the end of the week and temperatures will continue to rise to seasonably warm temperatures under influence of strong high pressure."

In other news, a man who was believed to be armed and involved in a domestic incident led police across multiple jurisdictions, ramming vehicles and fleeing authorities until the pursuit culminated with a lengthy standoff in the Bay Area, authorities said.
A man was shot while driving across the Bay Bridge. The victim was traveling eastbound when the suspect vehicle pulled along the left side and fired multiple rounds at the victim's vehicle, according to police.

A school resource officer was accused of exchanging sexually explicit texts and photos with two teenage girls, police said. He was was booked into jail and placed on administrative leave by the department.
