SAN FRANCISCO, CA — One person was burned in a fire that displaced seven people in the Bayview district Saturday night, San Francisco firefighters said.
The two-alarm fire, reported about 8:30 p.m., heavily damaged a two-story wood frame home at 79 Exeter St. and harmed an adjoining property, Lt. Mariano Elias Jr. said.
One person was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening burns, and an invalid was transported for precautionary medical evaluation, he said.

About 50 firefighters were summoned to the blaze because of the intensity of the fire and the proximity of other structures, Elias said.
The fire apparently originated in the garage on the lower level, but the cause was still under investigation, he said.
