Forget Limos! Couple Rides BART To Wedding

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — How cute are these two?

Presenting Laura and Jeremy. They got married in Oakland on Saturday. It would have been perfectly reasonable to hire limos to take them and their bridal party from San Francisco to the East Bay. But rather than crossing the Bay Bridge, they took a ride through the trans-bay tube. That's right, they took BART!

They boarded at the Powell station and rode to Lake Merritt — with the bridesmaids and groomsmen by their sides.

"We took BART because we didn’t want to worry about traffic and wanted to de-stress on our wedding day," said Laura on Instagram as shared by BART. "We thought it was a fun and different way to get to the wedding while being environmentally- (and economically-) friendly."
