Forklift Operator Killed in Accident Identified
The man died Monday at a San Francisco lumber supply company.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A man killed in a forklift accident at a lumber supply company in San Francisco's Dogpatch neighborhood Monday afternoon has been identified as 58-year-old South San Francisco resident Ruan Qiang, according to the medical examiner's office.
Qiang was killed when a forklift he was driving overturned on a ramp just before 2 p.m.
He became pinned underneath the forklift and died of his injuries at the scene, according to a spokeswoman for the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health.

Cal/OSHA is investigating the incident, as are San Francisco police.
Police Capt. Raj Vaswani identified the business as Good View Lumber at 1320 Marin St.

A person answering the phone at Good View today said no one was available to comment on Qiang's death.
