SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Former Major League Baseball executive Katy Feeney died Saturday of natural causes at the age of 68, the San Francisco Giants announced Sunday.
Feeney was the daughter of late Giants general manager and National League president Charles "Chub" Feeney, and retired in December after four decades of working in baseball.
She grew up with the Giants and moved with her family from New York City to San Francisco when the team relocated to the Bay Area in 1958, according to club officials.
