Glowing Skyline: Photo Of The Day

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Standstill traffic on Highway 101 is more tolerable when this is your view.

Claus Weisemann snapped this photo earlier this week while stopped during the evening commute. He tells Patch, "The sun had already descended below the horizon but the evening sky behind me was still glowing red and illuminating the skyscrapers against the dark sky in the East."
