Hit-and-Run Driver Returns to Look at Victim, Flees Again: Police
The victim was in a crosswalk in San Francisco's Bayview District, according to police, when the crash happened.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA ā A driver fled after hitting a pedestrian in a crosswalk in San Francisco's Bayview District on Monday night, police said.
The collision at Ingalls Street and La Salle Avenue was reported at 8:12 p.m., after a northbound white four-door vehicle struck a 22-year-old man in the crosswalk, police said.
The driver allegedly kept going, then returned to the scene and looked at the victim before fleeing west on La Salle.

The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries but is expected to survive, police said.
No arrest had been reported in the case as of this morning.
