Huey Lewis: "I Lost Most Of My Hearing," Cancels All Concerts

Huey Lewis and the News canceled all concerts planned in 2018.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Huey Lewis and the News announced Friday that the band has canceled all concerts.

In a statement on Twitter, Huey Lewis reported that he lost most of his hearing two and a half months ago. Doctors believe that he has Meniere's disease. Lewis says that while he can hear one-on-one, and can hear well enough to speak on the phone, he cannot hear music to sing.

As a result, all concerts planned in 2018 have been canceled.
