Hundreds Of San Francisco Traffic Lights Stop Working

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- Hundreds of traffic lights in San Francisco stopped working Tuesday afternoon. SFGate reported the malfunction affected 200 traffic signals in the city.

"The network malfunction occurred shortly before 12:30 p.m. and all lights were back up and running by 1:34 p.m.," reported the news site.

SFGate said "Traffic signal crews went to each intersection and reset the lights to get intersections from flashing lights to the three-color system."

No major incidents were reported as a result of the malfunction.
