Larry Ellison and Oracle - Jump Ahead - In The Cloud!

***So, have I heard Larry speak at Oracle Open World before? Also yep, but - nothing like what he presented today! LEAVE IT TO LARRY to surprise some 60,000 attendees with his Keynote, addressing a packed house, and, including many slides full of facts and statistics to prove the integrity of his words, and leadership. As of 2019, Oracle Cloud will be competing with the best of them, serving many business sizes in many industries. BUT, there are some differences to consider. Hmmmm, let's see...

***Oracle's Cloud offerings (for 2019) promise to be MUCH faster, (staggering numbers!), much easier-to-use, MUCH less expensive, far more versatile for moving data around, and in and out of the cloud; plus- data is fully secure on it's own server (or set, not sharing with lots of other companies), safe, and always backed up; almost 100% up-time guaranteed (99.99--); now includes transactions, lots of new technology, and, you only pay for server time when you use it. The actual numbers? Incredible! But, not yet published. So, keep watching, they should be out soon...
