Man Arrested For Attacking Elderly Woman In SF
The woman suffered life-threatening injuries, according to police.

SAN FRANCISCO — A 27-year-old San Francisco man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an elderly woman and spitting in another person's face, police said Monday.
On Friday about 11:16 a.m., police responded to Stockton Street on a report of an assault. Upon arrival, they found the elderly victim already with life-threatening injuries.
Another person said that the suspect spat in his face without provocation, before he assaulted the woman. The spitting victim ran after the suspect and detained him with the help of others until police arrived.

The suspect, identified as James Ramsey, was booked into jail on suspicion of assault likely to cause great bodily injury, crime against an elder, assault and battery, committing a felony while on bail, and resisting arrest.
Ramsey also had an arrest warrant out of Alameda County, San Francisco Police said.
