Man Injured In San Francisco Shooting Wednesday

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A 31-year-old man was injured in a shooting in San Francisco's Hunters Point neighborhood on Wednesday evening, police said.

The shooting was reported at 6:39 p.m. in the 100 block of Kiska Road, where the victim said he heard gunshots and then realized he had been injured, according to police.

The man was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not life-threatening.

No arrest has been made in the case and San Francisco police have not released any suspect details. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Police Department's tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with "SFPD" at the start of the message.
