Man Shot To Death In San Francisco

The shooting happened in the Tenderloin.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A man was shot and killed Monday night in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood, according to a news release issued Tuesday afternoon by San Francisco Police.

Officers responded to a 6:34 p.m. report of a shooting in the unit block of 6th Street, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and who was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police urge anyone with information about this shooting to call the the department's tip line at (415) 575-4444 or Text a Tip to TIP411 and begin the text message with SFPD. Callers may remain anonymous.
