Man Succumbs to Injuries Suffered from June Attack with Bottle on Market Street
BREAKING: The case is now a homicide, police said.

SAN FRANCISCO – A man died Tuesday of injuries he suffered in an attack last year, making the case a homicide, police said today.
William Evans, 56, died in the hospital of injuries from a June 18, 2016, attack in the 1100 block of Market St., police said.
Police identified the weapon used in the attack as a glass bottle, and identified the suspect only as a 30-year-old man.
