SAN FRANCISCO — A 32-year-old Sacramento woman has been charged in connection to a July 25th shooting on the Bay Bridge, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced Tuesday.
The suspect, Sequoia Dunkinsell, was charged with shooting at an occupied vehicle, making criminal threats, three counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm, one count of possession of a loaded firearm, and one count of reckless driving.
She was arraigned Tuesday but has pleaded not guilty in her initial appearance, the DA's office said.

During afternoon rush hour, after allegedly driving recklessly on eastbound Interstate Highway 80, Dunkinsell, who was reportedly naked, allegedly exited her vehicle, firing shots into the air and at passing vehicles, the DA's office said. The shooting temporarily held up traffic for commuters headed towards the East Bay.
There was no loss of life.

"The incident on the freeway was terrifying and endangered the lives of countless commuters. We will do everything in our power to ensure that there is appropriate accountability," said Jenkins.
Dunkinsell, who is currently in custody without bail, is due back in court for a preliminary hearing on August 11. She faces 22 years in prison if convicted on all charges, according to the District Attorney's Office.
