A change of command ceremony was held on Friday.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — The U.S. Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco had a new captain sworn in as the base's new commanding officer on Friday, according to Coast Guard officials.
Capt. Thomas Cooper took over for Capt. Kent Everingham on Friday in a ceremony at the base located at San Francisco International Airport.
"I can't say thank you enough to the Air Station San Francisco team, our partners and my family. The monumental success of this unit over the past few years would have been possible without you," Everingham said in a statement. "Thank you for making the last three years the best of my Coast Guard career."
