New ISIS Propaganda Video Targets San Francisco

The video, released Sunday, features images of many San Francisco landmarks and calls for attacks.

San Francisco, CA — A new propaganda video released by ISIS has set its sights squarely on San Francisco, according to KPIX 5 San Francisco. The video was released June 26, the same day as numerous LGBT events took place throughout the city, including one of the largest Pride parades in the country.

The video showed San Francisco landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Powell Street and the Financial District. CBS reported that underneath images of the Golden Gate Bridge was the phrase, “Arise, o Muslims and kill the unbelievers in their own homes.”

It also heavily praised the Orlando shooter Omar Mateen and seemed to be speaking to "lone wolf" terrorist within the United States, hoping to spur them to action, according to KPIX 5 security analyst and former FBI agent Jeff Harp.

Finally, it featured images of President Obama speaking, as well as shaking hands with French President Francois Hollande before the pair was wreathed by flames.

According to multiple outlets, the FBI is investigating the video but noted there is no credible threat at this time.
