SAN FRANCISCO — Two San Francisco men are facing firearm-related felony charges, following their arrest in late September.

San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced the charges Friday against Faalavelave Ulavale, 28, and Arturo Osorio, 30.

The pair are accused of multiple shootings that took place between March 2021 and September 2022 in the area of Northridge and Harbor Roads, according to San Francisco police.

Police executed a search warrant at Osorio's residence on the 100-block of Northridge Road on Sept. 29, where they allegedly found three handguns, an assault pistol, one rifle and two loaded assault rifles. Police said several of the firearms were personally assembled "ghost guns," which are made from untraceable parts. They also said the two assault rifles were equipped with silencers or suppressors.

Police said they also found 15 high-capacity firearm magazines and another, unfinished "ghost gun." Osorio was booked on charges of felon in possession of a firearm and possession of an assault weapon in California.

Police served another search warrant that same day at Ulavale's residence also on the 100-block of Northridge Road. He was allegedly in possession of a .40 caliber handgun, which a previous felony conviction prevented him from legally having. He was booked into San Francisco County Jail on a charge of felon in possession of a firearm.

He posted $75,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 31, according to a statement from Jenkins.

"Gun violence is tearing communities apart and we need to do everything in our power to take guns off the streets," Jenkins said.
