
SAN FRANCISCO — A man struck and killed by a Muni bus in San Francisco last week has been identified by the city's Medical Examiner's Office as 61-year-old Thomas Duba.
Duba, a resident of San Francisco, was struck at 12:51 a.m. Thursday near Van Ness Avenue and O'Farrell Street on Muni's 49-Van Ness/Mission line, a spokesperson for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency said.
City fire officials said the bus had to be raised up to remove Duba, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

San Francisco police are investigating the collision and have not released any other details about the case.
