Pedestrian Killed In Tenderloin Crash: Police

Police found the man in the road when they arrived at the scene.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A pedestrian was killed Tuesday in a crash in the Tenderloin, according to police.

Officers responded shortly after noon to Jones and Geary streets for a report of a collision and found a man in the road, police said. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he died, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 415-575-4444 or text 847-411 and begin the message with “SFPD.” Tipsters may remain anonymous.
