SAN FRANCISCO, CA — As the weekend wraps up, we've rounded up all the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.
But before we jump into Northern California’s top stories, Golden Staters should know that vaccines for children as young as 6 months old will be available as early as Tuesday. The news comes after federal officials approved the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines for ages 5 and under.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention unanimously approved giving COVID-19 vaccines to children as young as 6 months old on Saturday. CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky signed off on the decision the same day.
