Peninsula Man Arrested For SF Homicide

The stabbing death happened early Sunday.

SAN FRANCISCO — A Daly City man has been arrested on suspicion of the stabbing death of a man in San Francisco on Sunday, police said Tuesday.

At about 3:51 a.m., police were called out to a report of a stabbing in the area of 24th and Mission streets. Two men were located there suffering from wounds. One 42-year-old man who was possibly stabbed was pronounced dead at the hospital and the other man is expected to survive.

Jose Hernandez, 25, was arrested on suspicion of homicide and assault and battery, police said.
