Police Search For Suspect In Oakland Sexual Assault Case
Oakland police requested the public's help in identifying an individual said the be involved in a sexual assault and robbery.
OAKLAND, CA — The Oakland Police Department is requesting the public's help in identifying an individual said the be involved in a sexual assault and robbery case.
On Aug. 28 shortly after 9:30 a.m., officers responded to the 2900 block of Parker Avenue on reports of a sexual assault.
The victim was walking on the street when an armed man approached them, told them to "shut up" and began sexually assaulting them, said police. The victim said the suspect took their cell phone and ran away after screaming for help.

Police describe the suspect as a 5-foot-10-inch Black man in his 30s last wearing a blue beanie, red jacket and dark pants.
